Why Blogs do not make money

Wise words. True words.

You want to know why blogs fail and do not make money? Because the only motive the writer of the blog has is to make money.

Try writing for your sake as opposed to for someone else. Do not write for the money. Do not write for Google. Do not write for your audience.

Write because you love to write. Write because you cannot live without writing. Write because it is in you like a baby inside of its mother pushing to get out.

If people cared less about what others thought and more about what they wanted, they would make money.

But that is the irony. Write for the money, and more likely than not, you will fail like most bloggers do. Write because you love to write and don't care about the money, and you will make money.

Just one of those things in life you have to see to believe.
